We extend our gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic response to the unique showcase opportunity at the East Africa Carbon Markets Forum. This initiative aimed to highlight the impactful contributions of carbon projects within East Africa to a regional and international audience.

Focusing on early-stage initiatives, we called for submissions from projects that were either under validation or had been registered in the past three years. Our objective was to select eight projects that exemplify a diverse range of carbon mitigation strategies, including reforestation, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture. We sought to display projects that demonstrate significant positive impacts on communities and the environment, highlighting their innovation, impact, and scalability.

To ensure fairness and efficiency, preference was given to projects originating from East Africa. In cases where multiple submissions met our criteria equally, priority was granted to the project that registered first.

We are pleased to announce that the submission period has now closed. We thank all participants for their interest and commend their dedication to enhancing sustainability and environmental guardianship in East Africa.
